AML & Compliance — Public Summary

How we prevent money-laundering and comply with U.S. financial law.

Effective February 17, 2026
  • Every seller is verified against U.S. AML/KYC rules (Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act).
  • Applicants are checked against a limited internal watchlist. We do not currently query the OFAC, UK HMT, EU or UN lists directly, and the check is not repeated after onboarding.
  • SelleSend does not file Suspicious Activity Reports itself. Where a banking partner subject to those obligations is involved, activity may be reported to FinCEN through that partner.
  • AML records are retained for five (5) years after account closure, the period required by the Bank Secrecy Act. Broader account and shipping records are kept for seven (7) years, as stated in the Privacy Policy.
  • Refusal to provide KYC information will result in account restriction.
